We will start our tour with a coffee. During this time we can go over technical details, help answer and questions you might have, and then talk about what you would like to get out of the tour. We can craft an itinerary that will be built around you level and your interests and then head out into the night.
Each tour is private, and we will not couple you with people you do not know. Feel free to bring along guests, such as other photographer friends, or your partner and family, but we ask you to limit the group to four people. This way we can work at your pace to make sure you take away the skills that last a lifetime.
Along with your camera and some comfortable walking shoes, make sure you don't forget a spare battery! Also we highly recommend bringing a tripod. If you don't have one, you can rent it when booking.
A tripod is essential for steady long-exposure shots needed in night photography.
Cold evenings and long exposure use more battery power, so bring extras fully charged.

Aperture Tours emphasizes low-impact tourism practices, promoting respect for the harbour environment and encouraging visitors to leave no trace while enjoying Sydney’s nocturnal beauty.
