Available from July 25 to September 10, this is a spectacular trip for beginners and experts alike! Alaska silver salmon are known for being the most aggressive of the 5 salmon, and can be taken with about any method you can think of. Each guest is allowed up to 6 PINK SALMON AND 3 OTHER (silver) salmon daily (depending on current regulation), and groups up to 6 can be accommodated. Depending on time of year, these trips take place in either the town of Willow or Talkeetna, about 1.5-2 hours north of Anchorage respectively. Leave the crowds behind and enjoy a river of solitude!!

Our captains aim to tailor every trip to your specific needs, so let them know what you’re after! From late July to mid August you'll have the opportunity to catch pink, silver, and chum salmon as well as rainbow trout, dolly varden and arctic grayling. During late August you'll have the opportunity to catch up to 8 species, including all 5 pacific salmon, grayling, rainbow trout, and dolly varden! Depending on the trip, CURRENT REGULATIONS and species, you’ll be using techniques like trolling, fly-fishing, drift fishing, jigging, popping, and spinning.

Meeting Location

Depending on time of year, river conditions, and fishing expectations, we will launch from either Deshka Landing in Willow or Talkeetna River RV and Boat Launch located in Talkeetna, Alaska. Typically, guests can expect to meet at Deshka Landing from July 25 to August 15. After August 15, we will meet at the Talkeetna RV and Boat Launch. What to Bring:

  • Each guest over the age of 15 MUST HAVE a valid Alaska fishing license.
  • Warm and waterproof clothing. Layering is highly encouraged. Down jackets, windbreakers and rubber clothing is a must on the water.
  • Waders, hip boots, knee high rubber boots are all highly encouraged but not required.

  • Camera
  • Any food or drinks you'd like during the trip. Alcohol is permitted in controlled amounts.

What's Provided:

  • All fishing rods, reels, tackle, and bait.
  • Professional fish cleaning and portioning at the end of the trip.
  • Coast Guard licensed professional captain with Near Coastal endorsement and experience.
  • A safe, fun, memorable experience!
