Survive The Demon Barber: 60-Minute Horror Escape Room in Reno

Step into The Demon Barber | Reno Summit, a 60-minute horror escape room housed at 13965 S Virginia St Suite 902, Reno, NV 89511, USA. This private, locally built experience drops you into a bloodstained barber shop where a murderous stylist and his macabre accomplice turn victims into pies. From the first squeak of the salon chair to the ticking clock, the set design leans on tactile details—scissors, cracked mirrors, and a scent of stale flour from the oven—that push players into a tense, immersive puzzle hunt.

What makes this room a standout in Reno’s entertainment scene is its balance of theatrical horror and tightly woven problem-solving. The Demon Barber’s puzzles are not just code-cracking but physically integrated into the décor: hidden compartments behind barber cabinets, pressure-triggered props, and layered clues that reward close observation. Game masters supply nudges when teams stall, but success belongs to groups who communicate under pressure. The experience is private for groups of 3–8 players, so you bring your own team dynamics—not strangers.

Practical visitors will appreciate the clear check-in routine: arrive 15 minutes early for waivers and a briefing so your hour of gameplay is uninterrupted. The attraction is family-friendly in parts but enforces age rules—players 13 and under must have an adult, and minors need a signed waiver. Expect low lighting, confined spaces, and graphic horror décor; accessibility is limited and staff are available to discuss accommodations.

Beyond thrills, The Demon Barber | Reno Summit is a local business with a straightforward price point ($30 per person) and quick turnover, making it an ideal stop for an evening out or a rainy-day plan. It’s close to downtown Reno and the University, so it pairs well with dinner or late-night activities. If you love narrative-driven escape rooms with a gothic edge—where tactile set pieces and dark storytelling outshine cheap jump-scares—this is the room to book.

Pro tip: this game rewards teams that divide tasks quickly—assign a clue keeper and a puzzle runner. Phones and outside tools aren’t allowed, maintaining fairness and surprise for future visitors. Whether you’re testing a new group dynamic or hunting for an unforgettable birthday challenge, The Demon Barber | Reno Summit delivers tense pacing, handcrafted sets, and a grim, satisfying finish if you can outwit the barber’s scissors.

Book online to secure a private show—each session holds three to eight players, and the 60-minute format moves quickly, so punctuality preserves your full run. Staff can advise on less intense rooms if gore is not your thing. Tickets are $30 per person; refunds or rescheduling require at least 24 hours’ notice. The Demon Barber is a high-drama attraction that fits into a Reno weekend for groups who prefer interactive, story-first entertainment.
