Join our exciting 5-week youth surf development course at Cayton Bay, featuring professional coaching from an ISA level 2 coach. Experience tailored surf sessions, strength training, and contest preparation, culminating in a fun competition. 5 week program. Saturdays 09:30-11:30am Sat 17th May-14th June
This unique course kicks off with professional coaching with our ISA level 2 qualified performance coach and Team England Junior Squad coach here at Cayton Bay with an initial assessment, surf drills and theory.
Following our analysis is a tailor-made program including weekly surf coaching sessions, Surf skate training, Strength & Conditioning with a qualified UKSCA S&C coach, Surf theory, contest prep and one hell of a great vibe surfing with their new surf buddies! Week 4 includes coaching and video analysis at the new wave resort Lost Shore-Edinburgh on the 7th May and finishes with a fun contest!
A fantastic opportunity to join our new youth development course and excel your Groms surf progression whether they're moving on from beginner lessons or are an advanced surfer looking to improve their performance.
Our local surf sessions will primarily be run here at Cayton Bay and include all equipment but we will also relocate to other local beaches to find the best conditions on the day if required.
£150 inc all equipment Suitable for age 8-18yo (Surf sessions at Lost Shore Edinburgh not included in the price roughly £50pp)
Get to the beach at least 15 minutes before your session to setup and prepare.
Ensure good surf and weather reports before heading out to maximize safety and fun.
Apply waterproof sunscreen and wear rash guards to protect against sun and surfboard wax.
Bring water to stay refreshed during breaks, especially on warmer days.
