The Plumpton Park Zoo is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) that operates twenty-four hours a day, every day to care for its animals. Our operating budget is critical for the care and maintenance of our wonderful animal collection. Admission and fees only cover 70% of this cost–the balance is provided by the generous support of individuals just like you.
Weekdays tend to be less crowded, allowing for closer animal encounters and a quieter experience.
The zoo has several walking paths; comfortable footwear will enhance your visit.
Outdoor trails and animal exhibits have limited shade; stay hydrated and protected.
