The city opens like a storyboard as the tour gathers in front of the NYPD at 1479 Broadway — neon signs humming, traffic acting as a restless extra. A local actor-guide, cape visible from across the sidewalk, cues the coach and tells the first story: which alley stood in for a climactic rooftop, which facade doubled for a newspaper office. The pace is cinematic—short stops, quick exits, and enough time to take a photo that frames you among the city’s real-life backlots.
