Join Knee Deep Adventures for SUP Yoga with Julia Petrasso of Poolside Yoga Flow! We will launch from Port Terminal Boat Access (940 Port Terminal Road) at 10am. This is a fun, beginner/open-level yoga class, meaning all experience levels are welcome! Beginners and seasoned yogis alike will enjoy this class, and variations of each movement will be available, allowing you to honor your body, but also to challenge yourself if you choose to do so! We will begin with basic SUP instruction so everyone feels comfortable on the board before we take off!
Advance booking is required. For bookings within 2 hours of start time, please call or text 252-714-5836 to ask about last-minute availability!
Swimwear is recommended. Also make sure to bring a water bottle and a towel. The price includes a Stand Up Paddleboard (we have wide, steady boards, ideal for SUP Yoga!), Paddle, Life Jacket, and SUP Yoga instructor fee. You can also join with your own SUP (you must have a life jacket to participate).
About your instructor: Julia Petrasso is the owner of Poolside Yoga Flow who discovered yoga during a particularly challenging time in her life. She says it was the greatest gift she ever gave herself and her family. She hosts various yoga events with Poolside Yoga Flow and also volunteers teaching women who are incarcerated. Her favorite things to teach include hot yoga, vinyasa flow, and (most recently) SUP Yoga.
