SHAKA SUP YOGA is a 90-minute floating vinyasa flow practice, appropriate for all levels. This relaxing experience is offered on anchored yoga specific Stand-Up Paddle Boards (SUP) in our beautifully calm, clear Coe Lake in Berea.
The purpose of the class is to challenge mindfulness, let go of expectation, connect with nature and awaken an adventurous spirit.

SUP & Safety Equipment A Floating Yoga Experience

Wear comfortable, quick drying clothes that allow for freedom of movement. Yoga, athletic or swimwear apparel is fine. Do not wear bikini or thong bottoms, fleece, jeans or heavy cotton. Shoes are not worn on the boards.
Choose breathable, stretchy clothes that allow movement and won’t weigh you down if you get wet.
Plan to arrive 15 minutes before start to get acquainted with the equipment and safety procedures.
Stay hydrated throughout the session, especially during warmer months.
The floating surface can require core engagement; don’t worry if you fall, it’s part of the fun.
Coe Lake is part of the historic Berea Parklands, a community gathering spot established in the early 20th century.
