About This Adventure

Experience the thrill of self-guided kayaking with flexible rental options lasting from two to eight hours. Enjoy the freedom to explore at your own pace, while ensuring safety with necessary gear and weather checks. Perfect for adventurers seeking a memorable day on the water, with options for overnight trips available.

Duration

Two to Eight hours rental. Pick up and return at any time during your session (before dark).

Important!

  • All renters must have a våttkort to rent a sea kayaks, for sit on top and sup kayaks it is not a requirement, just without a våtkort your paddling distance will be limited.
  • In the winter (when water temp below 12 degrees) you must bring your own drysuit or rent from us one.
  • Please check the weather before departure. If the wind speed is above 5 m/s we are happy to give you a voucher to book another day. Just email your booking reference to info@trondheimkajakk.no
  • It is possible to book multiple sessions for overnight trips, subject to availability.
  • Children (minimum 13 years) must be accompanied by an adult and supervised at all times.

Other info:

  • Once you have booked you will be emailed instructions including a code for the kit box.
  • Wear clothing appropriate to weather conditions. Take water, sunscreen, waterproofs as necessary.
  • We suggest putting your belongings in a dry bag.
  • Please take all rubbish away.
  • After a return, all kayaks and SUP boards needs to be sprayed with fresh water after a trip

Check Wind Conditions Before Launch

Winds above 5 m/s can make paddling difficult; contact Trondheim Kajakk for rebooking vouchers in case of high wind.

Bring a Dry Bag

Protect valuables and extra clothing from splashes and unexpected weather changes by storing them in a dry bag on your board.

Wear Weather-Appropriate Clothing

Layer up or down based on seasonal temperatures to stay comfortable and safe on the water.

Children Must Be Supervised

Rentals are available for kids 13 and older but require adult supervision at all times during the trip.
