About

• If you like the outdoors, being surrounded by Nature and watersports then come to try Stand-up Paddle Boarding in western Algarve.
• This tour is ideal for all ages and will take you, your family or friends down the Ribeira de Aljezur River until the Ocean beach of Praia da Amoreira.
• This River tour is quite peaceful and relaxing, yet it's a fun, invigorating paddle, perfect to learn the sport of SUP.
• We will take you to one of the most beautiful, silent places on the Costa Vicentina Natural Park, the Aljezur river and Amoreira Beach.
• After getting all the equipment sorted, we do a Standup Paddleboarding lesson explaining how to paddle, stand up and balance and how to turn and manoeuvre the board.
• Then its time to begin our river trip starting on a narrow stream deep in the valley surrounded by trees and bushes, moving towards a wider area with fields where cattle come to feed.
• The surrounding is constantly changing as we paddle towards the Ocean: there are areas with wild berry bushes and then salt marshes with mud banks where loads of shellfish grow and birds come to feed and rest.
• The entire river is full of fish, that will jump out of the water as we paddleboard forward silently.
• The area then changes one more time when we approach the river beach surrounded by tall dunes 500m behind Amoreira beach.
• A paradise place with super inviting crystal clear water! As we near the beach on our SUP boards the sound of the breaking waves becomes loader and the smell of salt water intensifies letting you know that you are arriving at your destination!
• Minimum age is 8 years old
• Children can go on the same board with an adult
