OUR 26 YEAR OLD CLASSIC, NOW UPGRADED!
THIS IS THE COMBINATION OF OUR WINE TOUR AND EVENING COOKING CLASS.
As native Italians, we know all too well that there is no part-time when it comes to food and wine.
Seeing the undiscovered Chianti countryside, enjoying wine at a family owned winery, being part of the scenery, wishing a good day goodnight while sitting at a kitchen table in a historical private home, breathing in the smells, taking in the sounds: an all-Italian, inebriating sensorial experience.
IN DETAIL: Pick-up varies from 1:30 to 3:00pm (depending on season and week day), to allow you a full morning of sightseeing in Florence and a light lunch before we meet. (TIME VARIES to MAXIMISE daylight, so please check your booking confirmation)
We'll take you back in time, to an XI century hamlet on top of a hill in Chianti or a Renaissance palace, (depending on the day), both surrounded by breathtaking views: you will become part of a moving Renaissance painting, away from crowds and typical tourist destinations.
Once at the estate, (35 min. ride, approximately) we’ll visit the working winery, with its fermentation tanks and aging barrels, and enjoy a plentiful tasting of certified wines and extra virgin olive oil.
Then, in 15 minutes or less, we will arrive at our cooking class location: the setting is our private historical home on the hills over Florence – where we’ll learn how to make homemade pasta from scratch and other delicacies like you’ve never had before: NATURALLY low gluten, low cal, low carb, and yet more nutritious and satisfying.
(It’s a hands-on lesson, you don’t just watch a chef do all the work …)
The tour will end up with a plentiful home-cooked dinner, unlimited wine, coffee, homemade dessert and homemade liquors included.
After dinner, plenty of time to chat at the table and exchange addresses and suggestions with our new friends.
We recommend it as the ultimate authentic, full experience of real Tuscan life, as well as a fun yet educational way to master the most typical Italian meal with a health twist, and simply to enjoy an afternoon and evening in the peaceful and romantic Chianti countryside.
This popular 7-hour experience fills quickly, especially in peak seasons—reserve early to secure your spot.
You’ll walk on uneven vineyard terrain and in a historic home; sturdy, flat footwear is recommended.
Pick-up times vary to maximize daylight, so plan a light lunch beforehand to fully enjoy the tasting and dinner.
Inform your guides ahead if you have food allergies or dietary restrictions to ensure a safe cooking experience.
