Experience the Colorado River like never before—bathed in the warm glow of sunset and illuminated by the stars and moon above. Our guided Sunset Tour begins at Willow Beach, where we launch and paddle upstream past the original Hoover Dam site, uncovering the rich history and hidden stories of the area.

We’ll stop at a scenic beach to enjoy a delicious spread of food, desserts, and sides around a cozy campfire. As the sun dips below the canyon walls, you'll be treated to a breathtaking light show across the sky—perfect for unforgettable photos featuring you, the sunset, the stars, and the rising moon.

As darkness falls, we float with the gentle 1–2 MPH current of the Colorado River, gazing up at a sky bursting with stars. Whether under the glowing Full Moon, the delicate Crescent, or during a star-filled New Moon night, each version of the evening sky offers its own kind of magic.

Throughout the journey, we’ll share fun and fascinating facts about constellations, moon phases, and the science of stargazing to enhance your night-sky experience.

Adventure Tips

Wear layered clothing

Desert evenings can cool down quickly, so dressing in layers helps you stay comfortable as temperatures drop.

Bring a waterproof camera

Capture the vibrant sunset and starry sky without worry—dry bags are provided, but a waterproof camera enhances your experience.

Arrive early for best sunset views

Getting on the water about 30 minutes before sunset offers optimal positioning for stunning photos and a relaxed start.
