Adventure tips

Book the sunset slotChoose a departure ~30 minutes before official sunset to catch golden light turning to city illumination.

Smart-casual attirePack a light jacket for evening breezes and comfortable shoes for boarding and moving around the deck.

Mid-ship seating for seasicknessIf you get queasy, request a table near the centerline—there’s less motion and easier access to fresh air.

Bring a camera with low-light settingsTall buildings and reflections look best after sunset; a camera with good low-light performance or a smartphone with night mode helps.

Recommended gear

Light evening jacket: Evenings on the water can be breezy—bring a light layer for comfort.
Comfortable slip-on shoes: Easy to remove for boarding and stable on wet decks.
Motion-sickness medication or wristbands: Useful if you’re sensitive to boat motion, especially in choppy conditions.
Low-light camera or smartphone: Helps capture skyline and sunset scenes once lights come up.
