Enjoy a relaxing evening on the Lafayette River while taking in a one of a kind sunset - our favorite way to watch a sunset in Hampton Roads! We will launch 75 minutes prior to sunset and paddle as a group out of Knitting Mill Creek, head towards the Granby Street Bridge then turn around and take in the sunset. All experience levels are welcome, please be prepared to kayak at a casual pace the duration of the tour. Please arrive at least 20 minutes early, we will be very strict on time to make sure we catch the sunset! There will be no refunds if you are late or do not show up for the tour.

All tours are non-refundable. If we have to cancel due to weather, you will be able to reschedule to another Sunset Cruise date.

Adventure Tips

Arrive Early for Best Views

Arriving at least 30 minutes before sunset ensures you have plenty of time to get comfortable and catch the full color display.

Bring Water and Snacks

Although the trip is relaxing, staying hydrated and having a light snack is important for comfort during paddling.

Wear Sun Protection

Apply waterproof sunscreen and wear a hat to protect from UV rays, especially when paddling earlier in the day.

Use Closed-Toe Water Shoes

Wear shoes that can get wet and protect your feet from sharp rocks or debris when entering and exiting the kayak.
