About This Adventure

Experience the only clear kayaking glow tour in Hawaii, paddling over Olowalu reef at sunset. Witness the vibrant marine life awaken beneath you, including Manta Rays and glowing jellyfish. Enjoy stargazing and storytelling, followed by fresh pineapple. This unique adventure combines nature, mythology, and unforgettable memories in a stunning setting.

Looking for a one of a kind experience?

Join us on the only clear kayaking glow tour in the state of Hawaii! Spend time paddling over Olowalu reef; home to the fourth largest population of Manta Rays in the world. (350 in total)

Watch the sun set behind the beautiful island of Lanai from the waters of Maui. Then look through your clear kayak as we explore Hawaii’s oldest reef system to see the transition of our day and night animals. After the sun has set, turn on the high powered lights in your stable, pontooned, clear kayaks and see the reef wake up below you. Watch as it becomes bejeweled with the sparkle of rubies as your light reflects from the eyes of millions of shrimp living in the reef below.

After anchoring, we drop lights to draw in the plankton that Manta Rays feed on in hopes that they stop by to dine below our kayaks. The lights also bring in many types of marine life including Squid, Shrimp, Fish, Nudibranchs, Eels and our night time Octopus. The kayak lights even attract hundreds of Jelly fish that will swim beneath and beside you while you watch comfortably out of harms way, without getting wet or cold!! No wetsuit necessary!

Stargaze as you hear stories about the constellations, old Maui, the mythology of the Hawaiian gods, our plants, animals and much more.

Head to shore on a lit path to avoid hitting our coral reef heads. After returning, we will cut up a fresh pineapple to dust with Li Hing powder and share as we talk story about our wonderful adventure together!

We provide everything you need for this experience with the exception of your phone or GoPro. We provide White, long sleeved rash guards, Life vests, Glow sticks, Glow bracelets and necklaces, Head lamps, Bananas, Granola and Fresh Pineapple, Sport bottles of purified water, Dry bags, a person to watch your car and valuables and free pictures. Our tour meets to launch 45 minutes before the sun sets and lasts roughly 4 hours by the time you leave.

We have 10 seats available per night on Mon, Wed and Friday. Please book your spot early. If the conditions are less than perfect, we will happily reschedule you to Tues, Thurs or Saturday.
