About

This is a rare opportunity to experience the nighttime magic of the magnificent first-order Fresnel lens as it casts its beams 27 miles out to sea guiding mariners to safe harbor.

From the top of the lighthouse, experience the glory of the sunset and the majesty of the rising moon, all in one climb!


Important Information

  • Military guests please indicate in comment section if you will be driving instead of utilizing our shuttle bus.
  • Civilian guests must use the shuttle bus as transportation. Do not attempt to drive yourself to the Lighthouse. Follow all pickup instructions sent via confirmation email.
  • Children who are riding our shuttle bus must be at least 6 years old and at least 44” tall.
  • Please wear shoes with a secured back. If you are wearing backless shoes without a heel or ankle strap, you will be asked to climb the lighthouse tower barefoot.
  • Backpacks and other oversized bags must be left in your vehicle, as they cannot be taken into the museum or tower.

Implementation of the REAL ID Act begins May 7, 2025. That day, and any day after that, anyone 18 years and older that plans to visit certain Federal facilities or fly domestically will need a REAL ID or another acceptable form of identification to enter U.S. military bases or board federally regulated commercial aircraft.
