Embark on a captivating 2-3 hour snowshoe tour at Boyd's Farm, where you'll hike through picturesque fields and a fir forest. Discover Vermont's farming history, spot wildlife tracks, and enjoy stunning views of Mount Snow. Delight in snacks and hot cocoa, making this adventure both educational and memorable.

Starting at the Boyd Family Farm fields. Hike north along the Deerfield river through our vegetable fields. After crossing the Deerfield and then the Ellis brook, the trail then leads up through a fir forest. Learn about the trees and identify some wildlife tracks. Our adventure will take us to a scenic outlook that overlooks Mount snow and Haystack ski areas. This is a great spot for photos. Snacks and hot coco will be provided on the tour. Headlamps, local cheeses, and crackers will be provided on sunset tours. You will learn about farming in Vermont and the Boyd family’s history in Wilmington starting in 1775...that’s right, the year before the revolutionary war!
