Sunset Catamaran in Tenerife: Private 3-Hour Sunset Cruise

Private Charter — Sunset offers a three-hour evening catamaran cruise off Tenerife’s coast, departing into the Atlantic from the island of Tenerife near Vilaflor in Canarias, Spain. Onboard a spacious, stable 14x8m catamaran operated by blueoceanyachtcharter, small groups of up to 12 guests enjoy an open bar, bubbles, and finger food while the island’s volcanic profile slides toward the horizon. The keel slices calm water; the late light paints Teide’s silhouette and the sea turns to a palette of gold and indigo.

The core of the experience is elemental: salt air, the hush of waves, and a sunset that drops behind rocky headlands carved from basalt and volcanic tuff. Guests can swim, snorkel, or stand on a paddle board in crystal-clear water—conditions that favor visibility and relaxed entry points from the catamaran. The crew provides a professional skipper and coordinates hotel pick-up for most bookings, simplifying logistics so you can focus on the view and the company.

This charter stands out for combining easy luxury with active options. Unlike crowded ferries, the boat’s 14x8m footprint creates stability for socializing and movement, while a small-group limit keeps the vibe intimate. The option to continue the evening at Lemongrass, an onshore Asian restaurant offering fresh seafood and specialties, rounds the trip with local flavors that reflect Tenerife’s island produce and multicultural dining scene.

Practical details you should plan for: departures start at 18:00; arrive ten minutes early. Children age two and up are welcome, though parents are responsible for supervision. Transport is included for groups up to eight; larger groups may incur a pickup fee. Animals are not allowed aboard. The crew will confirm pickup logistics after booking so your itinerary is clear.

Why book it? For photographers, the angle of light off layered cliffs of volcanic rock is remarkable. For couples, a sunset toast with bubbles offers a quiet, cinematic moment. For active travelers, the swim and snorkel stops in calm coves showcase marine life against dramatic underwater lava formations. Blueoceanyachtcharter’s sunset charter is a compact, high-value way to experience Tenerife from the water—part scenic cruise, part mini adventure—making it an excellent evening option for visitors based anywhere on the southern coast or staying inland in Vilaflor.

Bookings are limited to a maximum of 12 people, which keeps the experience personal and easy to manage; groups of eight or fewer often benefit from included transport. The skipper monitors weather and sea conditions and will advise if snorkeling or paddleboarding is safe; keep an eye on wind and swell forecasts in high season. Bring swimwear, a light windbreaker, reef-safe sunscreen, and curiosity. For a hassle-free evening on Tenerife’s water, this Private Charter — Sunset balances comfort, local flavor, and memorable ocean time.
