Rosie Boat sunset charters depart from Pelican Beach Boat Ramp, Waterways Drive, Main Beach. Holding up to 30 passengers, we offer a BYO catering and alcohol service with the following package.

How does the BYO service work on Rosie Boat Charters? Bring along your favourite drinks and food for your day out on Rosie. We provide eskies, ice, a fridge and staff to serve you. If you’d prefer to order alcohol online, we’re happy to pick it up for you in readiness for your arrival. We pick up from Dan Murphy’s Biggera Waters.

What kind of events can you have aboard Rosie? Rosie Boat is suitable for all occasions, including birthdays, weddings, hens parties and work parties. Small gatherings, families with children and romantic trips for two are welcome also.

Do you offer cocktails aboard Rosie Boat Charters? We’re happy to mix up two types of your favourite cocktails for you. Simply tell us which cocktails on booking and add the ingredients to your Dan Murphy’s order.

What kind of food can you bring aboard Rosie Boat Charters? Please feel free to bring along platters, cakes, snacks and any food that doesn’t require heating. There’s a fridge on board, and we provide eco-friendly serviettes, cutlery and plates. If you’d like us to arrange a grazing table for you, please let us know on booking.

Is there music or entertainment aboard Rosie Boat Charters? Yes! We have a sound system with a microphone, mixer and an iPad with Spotify to choose your favourite playlists. We can accommodate DJs or musicians for your event. We also offer party games for entertainment onboard.

Can you swim during a daytime Gold Coast Boat charter? Absolutely! We anchor at scenic areas in the Gold Coast Broadwater for swimming. The broadwater is sheltered from the open ocean and the water is calm.

What boat charter catering does Rosie Boat offer? Rosie Boat offers two grazing table options, depending on the number of guests in your Gold Coast boat charter party.

  • Option one: 10 to 15 guests. Cost: $350
  • Option two: 16 to 30 guests. Cost $600

What other boat charter catering options are available? The Gold Coast offers a wide range of boat charter catering options. All you need to do is choose your favourite food! Currently we work with Dan Murphy’s at Biggera Waters for guests to order drinks online. We’re happy to pick them up for you, so they’re icy cold for your arrival. If you choose this option, please place your order within a week of your charter. List Rosie Boat Charters as the pick up contact.

Feel free to choose two mixed drinks or cocktails for your event. Let us know which type of drink you’d like as a welcome aboard beverage.

What catering facilities are available on Rosie Gold Coast boat charters? Rosie Boat offers a fridge, along with ice and eskies for drinks and small food items that require refrigeration. We have a small Weber and serving utensils for simple Aussie barbecues of sausages, steaks, chops etc for you to cook out on the water. We provide eco-friendly plates, cutlery and serviettes. Other than the barbecue and a kettle for tea and coffee, Rosie Boat doesn’t have the facilities to warm up food, so please consider this when choosing boat charter catering.

Pick Up and Drop Off Details: two options

Option 1: Pelican Beach Boat Ramp, Waterways Drive Main Beach: Free parking is available at the beach carpark, along with street parking in Main Beach. Alternatively, the Main Beach tram stop is within easy walking distance.

Option 2: Runaway Bay Marina, 247 Bayview St, Runaway Bay: Limited parking is available. Please arrive and depart via taxi or uber if possible. Meet at the dock entrance closest to the Marina Office, where Rosie Boat crew will escort you to the boat. Please note as this marina is residential, parties including loud music etc must end before returning back to the marina (you can be as loud as you like out on the water!). Guests must immediately depart the marina vicinity and car park with respect for residents.
