About This Adventure

About

Explore the backwaters of the Rookery Bay Reserve as the sun gets low and paddle through a winding mangrove creek until emerging into the Rookery Bay at sunset. As the sun dips below the horizon, anchor near one of Rookery Bay's famous bird rookery islands to witness hundreds of our local bird species returning for the night after a long day of feeding.  Enjoy the spectacular sunset and the sounds of the birds before heading back in the twilight!
