The sun leans low over the Samaná shore and the sand changes from white to warm gold; a photographer calls instructions softly while waves shape the light. This private sunset session takes place along the beaches of the Samaná region, where a quiet walk under palm and almond trees leads to open sand, low cliffs, and surf that dares you to step closer.

Samaná has long been a coastal meeting point—from indigenous Taino settlements to colonial trade routes—shaping a living coastal culture tied to fishing and tourism.
Coastal erosion and marine debris are local concerns; photographers and guests are encouraged to avoid trampling dunes, pack out waste, and keep lights off turtle nesting zones.
