This is a self-guided tour, meaning you won't have a tour guide going with you during the activity, but an island expert to provide the beach gears and a tour demo prior to the activity. You get to experience this sunrise adventure at your own pace and with all the equipments you need and a map makes it a more fun and adventurous activity.

Activities

-10-15 minute personal onshore activity and safety instruction to teach you how and where to kayak, before you set out on your own. -20-25 minute (one-way) ocean kayaking

Optional Activities (experienced adventurers)

-15-30 minute hike and awesome 360 views of the beautiful windward ocean and mountains -15-20 minute snorkeling ocean experience. A good chance to see a sea turtle!

Meetup Instruction

The Kualoa Regional Park and its across the famous 'jurassic park' park, Kualoa Ranch. You will see the Chinaman's Hat island (Mokolii) from there, where you will be kayaking/paddling to. Mokolii in Hawaiian means 'little lizard'. According to the Hawaiian mythology, the island is a lizard's or dragon's tail that was chopped off and thrown into the ocean by a goddess.

The regional park opens at 7:00AM so we can only park on the main road, just outside the regional park. From there, it's only few steps to the shore, your launching area.
