Our adventure begins overlooking the famed "Dragon's Tail," the easternmost peninsula of Madeira, before we set our sights westward along the breathtaking ridges of the island's northern coast.

The initial stretch of our hike presents a thrilling challenge, serving as the perfect initiation to our five-day odyssey. Designed to invigorate the senses and set the pace for the journey ahead, the first two hours test both stamina and resolve. Yet, conquering this ascent assures triumph throughout the entirety of our expedition.

Following the demanding climb, the trail levels out, offering panoramic vistas of the northeastern coastline as we trek towards the picturesque town of Porto da Cruz. Spanning a total distance of 15 kilometers, this exhilarating hike unfolds over approximately five hours of exploration.
