A pale ribbon of dawn stretches over the dunes as the convoy hums away from Dubai’s lights, and the desert inhales the first cool hour. Riders mount rented quads for thirty minutes of self-drive through soft sand, then swap engines for adrenaline as a 4WD takes the group into steeper dunes for classic dune bashing.
