The morning arrives cold and sharp on Seixal’s black sand—granular, glassy and dark against the Atlantic’s pale light. A single portable pole stands upright on a flat stretch of beach, the metallic surface catching the first flush of sun as the ocean breathes in slow, cool waves. The photographer finishes rigging while participants warm up; the goal is to use low crowds and soft light to craft motion-rich stills and a short drone-backed video.
