You lift from a dew-slick field as the first light scours the horizon; the gondola thumps gently, then rises and the world softens. Below, Catalonia’s patchwork farms slide away and the serrated ridges of Montserrat unfurl like a carved spine. The balloon drifts with the breeze, the pilot reading thermals while vineyards and olive groves pass beneath.
