You arrive in the pre-dawn hush, headlights cutting tracks into cool sand as the desert waits on the horizon. Tires hiss up soft rises and the driver eases the 4WD to a stop; the dunes lift and fold like a slow-moving ocean. As the sun climbs, grains of red sand flare, and the quiet is punctuated by the slap of a camel’s foot and the wind shaping the next ridge.
