Sunday Brunch Cruise

Enjoy the area’s biggest brunch buffet while taking in the beauty of southern Winnipesaukee. During this 2½ hour narrated trip from either Weirs Beach or Alton Bay, learn about the people and events that have shaped the lake's history, as you dine on a variety of breakfast and light luncheon items.

Not hungry for brunch? We offer tickets with and without the brunch buffet, and snacks and light fare are available for purchase.

"Cruise with Brunch" Tickets

  • Ticket includes a 2½ hour cruise, unlimited access to the brunch buffet, and access to reserved seating areas for brunch passengers.
  • Passengers purchasing cruise tickets with the brunch buffet included will be directed to the Main Deck, which is reserved for brunch passengers only. Depending on the number of tickets sold, additional areas of the ship may also be reserved exclusively for brunch passengers. Brunch passengers are not required to sit in areas designated, however these seats have been reserved as a courtesy.

"Cruise Only" Tickets

  • For passengers who would like to cruise but would not like to enjoy brunch, "Cruise Only" tickets are available. These tickets may be purchased by selecting "Narrated Scenic Tour" and then your preferred date.
  • Passengers purchasing "cruise only" tickets will be directed to the upper decks, away from the areas reserved for brunch passengers. While "cruise only" passengers are welcome to explore the ship at their leisure, we request they leave tables in reserved areas open for brunch passengers.
  • For "cruise only" passengers with mobility concerns or who have difficulty with stairs, please see a crew member for assistance with seating.
  • Please note that on Sundays there is brunch buffet, and other food options, including the Fantail Grille and snack bars, are very limited. Outside food and beverage are not permitted.
  • Cruise Only passengers who would like to purchase the brunch buffet once on board may do so at the gift shop.

Boat Amenities:

  • Entertainment - Sundays include light entertainment for the enjoyment of our guests. During good weather, the entertainment will be located on the Third Deck. During cold or inclement weather, the entertainment will be located on the Main Deck.
  • Bar Service - For your convenience, the M/S Mount Washington has bars on every deck of the ship. Our crew is ready to assist you with food orders, soft drinks, beer, wine, and cocktails.
  • Gift Shop - Located on the Main Deck of the ship, the Gift Shop offers a wide variety of Lake Winnipesaukee items and M/S Mount Washington memorabilia.

Important Information

  • Times listed are departure times. Plan to arrive at the port 30 minutes prior to boarding to find parking, secure your tickets and and walk to the dock.
  • Please plan ahead. The Lakes Region has many events that may cause traffic unexpectedly. We are unable to delay boarding or hold the ship to accommodate late arrivals.
  • The M/S Mount Washington is a full service restaurant and like other restaurants, outside food and beverage are not permitted. Customers arriving with food and beverage items will be asked to return them to their cars or dispose of them prior to check-in.
  • For the safety and comfort of all passengers, all vessels in the Winnipesaukee Fleet are non-smoking.

Parking & Directions

  • Metered parking and paid parking lots are available at Weirs Beach. If parking at a meter, please note that Weirs - Beach has 2 hour, 3 hour, and 5 hour meters. Mount Washington Cruises is not responsible for fined vehicles due to expired meters.
  • The GPS location of our dock at Alton Bay is 66 Mount Major Highway.
  • The Alton Bay Municipal Parking Lot is located next to the Alton Bay Information Booth.

Refunds & Exchanges

  • All tickets are non-refundable, except when a cruise is canceled due to a mechanical failure, low ridership, or act of God.

    • Mechanical Failure – In the event that a cruise cannot take place due to a mechanical issue with the vessel, you will be given the option to rebook to a similar cruise or to receive a refund.
    • Low Ridership – There are rare instances where there are not enough passengers to make a cruise feasible. In this case, you will be offered an alternative cruise, alternative vessel, or a refund.
    • Acts of God – Though rare, a cruise may be canceled due to extreme weather or other state of emergency. In this case, you will be offered an alternative cruise or a refund. Please note that cruises do take place rain or shine and basic rain and wind do not qualify. Personal sickness (including COVID-19 infection), car accidents and traffic are not considered Acts of God, and will not be accepted as justification for a refund.
  • Tickets may be exchanged with 48 hours advance notice by clicking the "modify reservation" link in your cruise confirmation. Within 48 hours of a cruise, modifications are not permitted.
