Summer Sled Dog Ride & Kennel Tour gives visitors an in depth look into life as a dog musher. Guests will be greeted, guided and observe through the process of hooking up a dog team, followed by a ride in multi-passenger side-by-side guided by Iditarod and 3 time Yukon Quest finisher, Richie. After the ride, guests will be able to get up close and personal with the dogs. There is a guided walk-through tour of our off-grid summer camp and dog yard. Our final stop is to our visitor tent where we do a presentation about real dog sledding and racing during the winter. The talk focuses on the Yukon Quest and Iditarod 1000 mile races, dog care and any other questions guests may have about dog mushing and life in Alaska!
