No worries. We will stop at the local bakery before our tour, where you can choose from a wide selection of delicious fresh pastry. Have your own water bottles with you as we can fill them with fresh water from the spring just next to the bakery.
Trails include rocky and uneven surfaces demanding firm, supportive footwear.
Though there’s a refill stop at a spring near the bakery, bring at least 1.5 liters to stay hydrated throughout the hike.
Finish the trek with a refreshing swim at Chiliadou Beach, so being prepared makes the experience smooth.
The exposed trail sections require sun protection especially from April through October.
Stropones Gorge has been shaped over millennia by Aegean tectonics, and local villages reflect centuries-old agricultural traditions.
Evia Adventure Tours promotes responsible hiking through small groups and leave-no-trace ethics to preserve fragile ecosystems.
Strong grip and ankle support are critical for rocky and uneven paths.
