About

Immerse yourself in the day-to-day work of the United Nations in the field through our innovative Virtual Reality (VR) Experience.

This 360-degree VR will take you to the UN Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS), placing you at the heart of UN peacekeeping efforts and the challenges they face.

Using VR headsets, you will be transported to South Sudan, where you will ride alongside peacekeepers in an Armored Personnel Carrier, collaborate with engineers to address unprecedented flooding in Bentiu, visit displaced persons' camps, and participate in land and riverine patrols along the Nile to protect civilians. You will encounter the difficult tasks faced by UN peacekeepers, including the vital interactions between female peacekeepers and local women and youth, aimed at building trust and gaining a deeper understanding of the community's needs.

The Virtual Reality Experience lasts approximately 6 minutes per person, providing a powerful glimpse into the vital work being carried out by UN peacekeepers on the ground.
