Enjoy a relaxing journey along the Dean Forest Railway behind one of our steam locomotives.
Your journey begins at Norchard Station (GL15 4ET), travelling south to Lydney Junction, where toilet facilities are available during the 20 minute break there whilst the engine runs round. and then north to Parkend, where there will be another 20 minute break (with toilets available on the platform) for the engine to run around, before returning to Norchard.
Please note, bookings for the ‘Steam Train Ride’ are for one round trip only – to take advantage of our ‘hop-on-hop-off’ service†, with unlimited travel throughout the day, check out our Steam Day Rover tickets (not available on some Wednesdays during the holidays - on these days your 'Steam Train Ride' ticket will also allow travel on board the Heritage DIesel Railcar).
