About

For groups of 20 or more, booking in advance gives access to group discounts and reserved seating. The Embsay & Bolton Abbey Steam Railway welcomes pre-booked group visits, especially from Schools, Playgroups, Women’s Institutes, Social Clubs, etc. Groups are welcome on all operating days.

We have a large parking area for coaches, easy turning at both stations and a large cafe at Bolton Abbey which is particularly suitable for coach parties.

Steam trains run every Sunday throughout the year, up to 6 days a week in Summer and most Bank Holidays. Please consult the Timetable for full details.

All wheelchairs and mobility scooters must be manually pushed onboard the train.
