Located in the Cleveland National Forest in Alpine, California. We share the White Oak Ranch with Lions Tigers and Bears an accredited big cat and bear Sanctuary. You can experience the majestic sights and sounds of the animals during your luxury getaway.
Each stay at White Oak Retreat includes a complimentary guided group visit of Lions Tigers & Bears. The visit takes place at 10:30 AM (Wed & Thurs) or 10 AM (Fri & Sat) upon the day of check-out. Upgrades are also available to make your stay extra special.

Friday and Saturday Stays: Guests wishing to stay the night on a Friday or Saturday must book a two-night minimum stay at our retreat.
The White Oak retreat features 2-bedrooms, 1-bathroom, a wet bar, living and dining room areas, an outdoor kitchen with gas BBQ grill, hot tub, observation deck and outdoor seating and fire pit. The rolling hills, ancient oak trees, and fresh mountain air await!
The retreat offers access to forest trails that can be uneven; good shoes will keep you comfortable during hikes and sanctuary visits.
Mosquitoes and other insects are common in the forested area, especially around dusk and dawn.
Stay hydrated as the dry climate and moderate elevation can dehydrate you faster than expected.
The Lions Tigers & Bears tour is a highlight and often fills up quickly, so reserve early to guarantee your spot.
