A cold spray hits your face as the RIB launches from Stavanger harbor and the fjord narrows, stone walls rising vertical on either side. Pulpit Rock—Preikestolen—comes into view not from the rim but from the sea: a flat, forbidding shelf that looks carved by an impatient hand. The boat threads closer, the Whiskey Waterfall unfurling as a torn ribbon of water, then the hull hums as the captain eases into the shadow of Vagabond’s Cave.
