Accommodating up to eight guests, this cozy retreat features a wood-fired sauna and all essential amenities, perfect for a memorable getaway in nature. Embrace self-sufficiency and adventure!

Please note - Galena closes for the winter season Sunday April 3rd. The restaurant, lodge, and ski/snowshoe rentals will not be available after this date. The yurts are still a blast but you will need to be self sufficient.

About

Star’s Perch Yurt – Nestled in the lodgepole pine forest but with a fantastic view of Galena peak. Star’s Perch yurt sits on the ridgeline behind the lodge and is located between Senate View & Honeymoon. Star’s Perch sleeps eight people in three bunk beds, two with a double futon couch on the bottom and single beds on top. This yurt can easily be combined with the Senate View yurt (just a minute away) to accommodate a larger group. This yurt has a wood-fired sauna at it that is open to all yurt guests. The yurts are all outfitted with a wood stove for heat, 2 burner propane stove for cooking, all your pots, pans, silverware, glassware, paper towels, toilet paper, newspaper, wood, sleeping pads, solar lights, and an outhouse!

Sorry, NO DOGS are allowed at this yurt in the winter.
