Embark on a captivating 2.5-hour stargazing tour at our Dark Sky site, where you'll join fellow astronomy enthusiasts. Enjoy a laser-guided introduction to the night sky, telescope time with a Celestron Schmidt-Cassegrain, and provided snacks. Experience the cosmos like never before in a fully accessible setting.

About

This is our signature stargazing tour experience! Upon your arrival at our Dark Sky site, join a small group of other astronomy enthusiasts for exploration of the cosmos. Your night will include a seat in the circle for an introduction to the night sky with laser-guided description of what to look at. Binoculars may be provided to aid in finding objects. The tour includes plenty of telescope time with our large Celestron Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope. Snacks and refreshments will be provided. The Dark Sky site is fully accessible and part of the Charlotte County Florida parks system.

What to Bring?

Long pants and long sleeve shirts are recommended . If there is an issue with mosquitoes, we have mosquito jackets available for use.
