St. Petersburg 7'x12' Hydraulic Dump Trailer Rental — 10 Cubic Yards

The Royal Trailer 7' x 12' x 4' Hydraulic Dump Trailer (10 cu. yards) is a workhorse available from Royal Trailer Rentals in St. Petersburg, Florida. Pick up at 700 40th St S, St. Petersburg, FL 33711, and you get a straight-forward, heavy-duty trailer designed to simplify hauling for landscaping, construction, and large household projects. This 7x12x4-foot bed sits on dual 5,200-pound axles and delivers roughly 10 cubic yards of hauling capacity. A steel frame and 4-foot dump sides resist torsion and flex when you’re carrying dense materials—top features include a hydraulic lift with remote control for hands-free dumping, rear slide-in ramps for loading equipment, a full-cover retractable tarp to secure loads, and a toolbox stocked with a spare tire, bottle jack, 4-way wrench, and PPE required for landfill access. Hitch and go: a 2" 5/16 hitch is required and the company can supply it at no cost. Operation is simple but practical. Back into clear ground, attach safety chains, plug the trailer, and lift or lower the tailgate before you engage the hydraulic remote. The solid tailgate and stabilizing jacks make on-site tipping predictable on flat or mildly uneven ground. The rental policy notes no dump services are offered and a minimum $50 cleaning fee applies if material is left behind—plan your disposal stop in advance. Why this trailer matters to visitors and locals: St. Petersburg’s coastal properties and older neighborhoods often require quick, heavy hauling for yard renewals, storm cleanup, or DIY renovation. The compact 7-foot width lets you navigate driveways and residential streets while still hauling tractors, pavers, mulch, rock, or construction debris. The included ramps and 10-cubic-yard bed mean fewer trips and safer loading for small skid-steers or walk-behind equipment. Pick-up and timing are reservation-based; the trailer will be ready at your exact pickup time but call (727)-300-1943 to change times. Bring ID and proof of insurance for the towing vehicle. Ratchet straps and a spare hitch are available if you need them, and a card on file is kept at pickup. Rentals run 1–7 days, which makes the trailer useful for one-day delivery runs or multi-day landscaping projects. Keep load distribution low and centered over the axles to avoid sway; use the provided ratchet straps and tie-down points to secure equipment. Inspect brakes and lights at pickup—connectors are standard 7-pin—and allow time to practice backing with ramps. Treat the tarp and tailgate gently to extend their life and avoid extra fees. Practical, heavy-duty, and designed for rapid turnover, this trailer is a smart local resource whether you’re a contractor staging a day of installs or a homeowner tackling a multi-day cleanout. It’s not glamorous—but it gets big jobs done with less sweat and more control.
