Elevate your diving experience with the SSI Advanced Adventurer course, where you'll gain essential skills through five thrilling adventure dives. SSI Advanced Adventurer: Take Your Diving Further Advance your diving skills and explore exciting new environments. Upon completion, you’ll earn the internationally recognised SSI Advanced Adventurer certification — allowing you to dive with a buddy to a maximum depth of 30 metres anywhere in the world. Every adventure dive you complete also counts toward a full SSI Specialty Certification, making it faster, more affordable, and more rewarding.

Course Overview: This course is 100% practical—no classroom sessions or exams. All knowledge reviews are completed during dive briefings, tailored to each adventure dive.

Experience 5 of 6 SSI Specialties:

  • Boat Diving
  • Navigation
  • Waves, Tides & Currents
  • Deep Diving (up to 30 metres*)
  • Night or Limited Visibility
  • Perfect Buoyancy

Max depth for 12–14-year-old divers during the deep dive is 21 metres. Maximum depth for 10–11-year-olds is 12 metres.

Prerequisites:

  • Open Water Diver certification
  • Dive within the last 12 months
  • If you’re over 45 or have any pre-existing medical conditions, you’ll need an AS4005.1 dive medical (valid for one year)
