Beschrijving
Deze workshop is voor beginners. Wij zullen daarom de nadruk leggen op veilig snijden, de basis van elke houtbewerker. Maar we gaan ook houtsoorten bespreken en hout leren ‘lezen’: hoe lopen de nerven en de vezels, is die ene knoest tot last of juist een prachtig versiersel? Uiteindelijk gaan we aan de slag en voor je het weet zit je er helemaal in en vergeet je elke notie van tijd. We zullen werken met een handzaag, carving messen en lepelmessen. Of je er nu één of honderd gemaakt hebt, lepels snijden is en blijft een verslavende en rustgevende bezigheid.
