The weight, hull design, and lower center of gravity combine to give you the fish-ability and stability that Hatteras is famous for. The cockpit is 130 square feet of hardcore fishing complete with a built-in fish box, live well, and tuna door. Functionality, flexibility, and room all combine so our customers can maximize their experience and catch more fish.

What is a split charter?

Split charters are semi-private charters on our 43 foot Big Catch boat. These trips are shared between individuals or small groups none of which are interested to reserve the full capacity (6 persons) of the vessel themselves. Anyone can request a split be started for a given day, number of people and length of trip. The trip will then be advertised and upon reaching 5 guaranteed people the split will be confirmed. If five people can not be found to confirm the split, the trip will not go. If someone reserves the whole boat before a split is confirmed, the whole boat charter will take priority.

What will I catch? Our private charter boat brings in Grouper, Red Snapper, Black Fin Tuna, King Mackerel, Amberjack, Mangrove Snapper, and a variety of other species depending on the season

What is included?

All bait, tackle, fish licenses, fish cleaning and parking passes are included.

What to Bring?
