Speight's Brewery in Dunedin is New Zealand’s oldest operational brewery, with a history dating back to 1876. On this tour, explore behind-the-scenes of the legendary brewery, visit the historic factory, and learn all about the beermaking process. Visit the tasting room to sample a selection of Speight's award-winning beers.
Average Duration: 45 minute Brewery tour & up to 30 minutes tasting.
We are a fully operational Brewery; there are approximately 200 stairs on the tour – we recommend a moderate level of fitness for participation in this activity.
Dress Code
Flat, closed-toed shoes are required. No bags can be taken through the Brewery (lockers are available)
Tasting
Proof of age documentation (Passport, New Zealand Driver's Licence or Kiwi Access Card) is required to participate in the Tasting portion of this experience.
Non-alcoholic options are available.
We cannot guide customers who are under the influence of intoxicating drugs and/or alcohol. Intoxicated persons will be asked to leave the premises/refused entry and/or participation
