The timing is not an exact science, as water/ wind can vary, plus adventurers have been known to get carried away having fun! We do not recommend booking gourmet dinners after your White Water Rafting Adventure, as any delays would impact your booking. We recommend a self-catering meal, or enjoying the local cuisine from the nearby pubs.
Whilst our trips are easily suited to people of marginal fitness, we don’t recommend undertaking additional strenuous activities on the same day, unless you are confident about the fitness level of your group.
We chase the water! We predict that we will be in either Kendal or Newby Bridge between August and April. However, where river conditions are not suitable, or safe, at this location, we will check our other locations, within a 1-hour travel time radius. Therefore, please allow a 1-hour extra travel time in your planning AND ALSO add 1 additional hour in case your trip is moved to Penrith, because it is a longer trip!
