About This Adventure

Join Adam Brubaker on a trip to South Africa to see the Big 5! The term “Big 5” originates from the 5 most difficult or dangerous animals to hunt on foot in Africa. This term is now used on safari to see those same 5 animals, many which have declined in numbers over the years. The Big 5 consists of the elephant, rhino, lion, leopard, and Buffalo.

In South Africa we will be visiting one of the top locations in Africa for viewing leopards, Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve. Along with leopards, Sabi Sands is a great place to see the rest of the “The Big 5” and many of the other animals you may associate with an African safari including giraffes, zebras, hippos, crocodiles, monkeys, as well as many other species.
