Find your center and practice mediation in the spacious and tranquil Buffalo Bayou Park Cistern. Offered in collaboration with Union is Creation and Youniversoul fest, this meditation series will feature the use of singing bowls and wind chimes to encourage mindfulness and connectivity.
Guests should bring their own cushions or mats. For sensitive hearing, guests may enjoy the experience with earplugs. No food or drinks are allowed inside the Cistern. Cistern doors close promptly on time. Once the doors close, there is no entry or re-entry.
Schedule Wednesdays — 6pm Saturdays and Sundays — 10am
Please note: children under the age of 9 are not permitted in the Cistern.
Parking Please plan on arriving 30-minutes before the session to allow time for parking and check-in at the Cistern entrance located at 105-B Sabine St. Houston, TX 77007.
Parking is available in the lot adjacent to the Buffalo Bayou Park Cistern. Overfill parking is available in City Lot H, located at 1643 Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77007, just to the east of Fonde Recreation Center.
