Sound is vibration that can induce healing through certain frequencies and resonances that affect the vibrations and frequencies of your body.
The intention of a Sound Bath is to use various sounds and vibrations to draw the focus of your attention away from the inner chatter of the mind, and to introduce the potential of vibrational healing, relaxation, and a meditative state of mind.
We use a variety of traditional and non-traditional instruments to produce an mesmerizing blend of harmonious, abstract, and occasionally therapeutically-dissonant sounds with the intention of producing a deep state of mindfulness, relaxation, embodiment, and harmony.
The instruments we use produce a complex set of sounds that can deeply penetrate both body and mind by quieting the inner voice and touching our essential self.
Indigo Soundscapes has two practitioners, Alejandro and Bobi, that work together in each sound bath creating a more dynamic experience. Alejandro is a life-long musician from Argentina who plays a variety of classical, jazz, and folk instruments. Bobi is a massage and sound therapist who incorporates sound healing with traditional bodywork (also available at Ghost Ranch-more info).
In a Sound Bath, participants recline on the floor in a relaxed comfortable position using mats and pillows (provided) with eyes closed. Your intention is to simply focus on listening, relaxing, and opening to the experience.
