A warm breeze off Lake Garda lifts the scent of lemon groves as teams gather on the stone sweep of Desenzano’s main square. Players check phones, open the free game app and ping the Game Master on WhatsApp; the city’s facades, monuments and narrow alleys become a liveboard of clues. Streets pulse with ordinary life—cafés, fishermen returning to the quay—while the game nudges you toward details most visitors miss.

Desenzano grew from a Roman lakeside settlement into a medieval trading port; its castle and lakeside promenades reflect layers of regional commerce and defense.
Respect historic facades and public spaces—avoid touching or climbing on monuments, carry out waste, and keep group sizes to recommended limits to reduce wear on narrow streets.
