You step onto a narrow limestone ledge and the ocean fills your senses — bright turquoise water below, wind pressing salt into your hair, and a cliff face that dares you forward. In a few strides you're geared in a 5mm suit, helmet and lifejacket, listening to guides who read the current and the rock like a map. Over three hours you'll walk, scramble, swim through small sea caves and make controlled jumps into the clear waters of Portinho da Arrábida.

Children age 8 and up can participate; guides assess each child’s comfort in the water before activities.
You should be comfortable swimming in open water, but lifejackets are provided and guides stay close during swims.
Trips are cancelled or rescheduled in unsafe conditions (high swell or storms); operators usually notify you in advance and offer full refunds if cancelled 24+ hours before.
