Globos Aerostáticos MX is a hot air balloon operator based in Tequisquiapan, Querétaro, offering a range of shared and private balloon experiences across the region, including flights over Teotihuacán and departures to San Miguel de Allende.
The company’s offerings include shared sunrise flights in Tequisquiapan and Teotihuacán that typically last 45 to 60 minutes, feature a celebratory toast, and conclude with a breakfast and a personalized flight certificate. Private flights are available for anniversaries, proposals, and special celebrations, with amenities such as welcome coffee, seasonal fruits, champagne toasts, and dedicated time with a certified pilot.
Several packages combine flights with overnight stays and hotel breakfasts at properties such as Hotel Rio, La Casona de Tequisquiapan, and a four-star hotel with breakfast at “el Gran Teocalli.” Transport-inclusive options include round-trip transfers from Mexico City for Teotihuacán departures and private transport add-ons for other flights.
Specialized experiences include the Ruta del Vino y del Queso—combining a balloon flight with wine and cheese tastings, a visit to an artisanal cheese factory, and a tour of the Freixenet vineyards—and discreet ring delivery at sunrise for proposals. Some packages include a travel insurance option that covers the balloon flight.
Safety and professionalism are emphasized: flights are led by certified pilots and many experiences include post-flight breakfasts and flight certificates. Travelers are advised to review each trip description for specific inclusions, duration, and transportation details before booking.
