Discover a distinctive safari that combines the thrill of snowmobiling with the magic of Christmas. As adults drive the snowmobiles toward the Santa Claus Village, children enjoy the ride in a heated and covered sled. A key highlight awaits at the destination: meeting Santa Claus at the very heart of the Village. Experience the joy of shopping, send postcards with exclusive Arctic Circle stamps, and enjoy a restaurant lunch included in the price. And don’t forget to cross the official Arctic Circle line – that makes your visit to the Arctic truly official!

Please note

The driver of a snowmobile must be at least 18 years old and in possession of a driving license valid in Finland. The snowmobile driver is held liable for any damages caused to the vehicle.

Securing self-liability waiver (25€) for your snowmobile prior to the safari minimizes potential self-liability costs to a maximum of 250€/person/snowmobile/accident, down from the standard 980€ in case of an accident. This waiver is individualized and applicable for a single snowmobile safari.

Children under 15 years old join the safari on a heated and covered sled that is behind the guide’s snowmobile. We highly recommend one of the parents sit with a small child in the sled for the child’s comfort and safety.

If a child over 140 cm wishes to sit in a snowmobile as a passenger, a full adult price will be charged. In this case, you need to book the child as an adult!

If you prefer to drive a snowmobile solo, please purchase the single driving supplement in addition to the "adult on a shared snowmobile" price.

For an additional fee, you can opt for professionally taken photos and videos capturing your special moment with Santa Claus. Kindly note that personal photography is not permitted during the encounter.

How do I get to the activity?

If you stay at Apukka Resort:

• Arrive at the meeting point 10 min. before the start of the activity.

If you need transportation:

• The price of the activity includes transfers to and from Apukka Resort with our shuttle bus.
• The bus stops are located at Rovaniemi city center (Korkalonkatu 32, Rovaniemi) and Santa Claus Village’s bus stop, situated by the main road (Road E75).
• Choose the pick-up point during the booking process.
• You will receive an email with the pick-up details.
• Please be at the bus stop at least 10 minutes before the given departure time.
• The transfer won’t wait, so punctuality is essential!
• If you’re late for the transfer, the tour won’t be refunded.

If you arrive by car:

• You can park your car in Apukka’s parking lot (Tutkijantie 28, Rovaniemi).
• Arrive at least 20 min before the activity starts.
• Pick up your winter gear from the Apukka Adventures dressing room.
• Wait at the meeting point until the tour begins.
